Sherri Lambkin

REALTOR® Real Estate Agent

I have a background in business and marketing and I have transferred this knowledge and skill to the world of Real Estate. My passion is getting more first-time home buyers into the market. I understand this client, their needs, worries and questions and I am armed with the answers to help lighten the load.

Specially Tailored Services

First Time Home Buyers

I am in my late twenties, and I recently purchased my first property which also happens to be a duplex. I have firsthand experience in understanding the difficulties of being a first-time home buyer, as well as the level of service required. This cohort of buyers has become one of my main areas of focus as I am passionate about seeing the younger generation become homeowners.  First time buyers tend to have a lot of questions and many times the process can feel overwhelming. I have formulated a process that targets the important conversations, tips and tricks to make your first home buying experience successful.

Marketing

Not only did I study marketing in university, but I also have the hands-on experience of marketing in the world of Real Estate. When it comes to listing your home for sale, Team Lambkin markets your home to 23 separate Real Estate Boards (over 72,000 Realtors!) giving you full coverage of most of Ontario. This ensures more Realtors, and their buyers will view your home, which maximizes your reach to more potential buyers. For the full breakdown of which boards we market to, click here. We also populate your listing to a plethora of websites and social media pages.

Tech Savvy & Detail Oriented

There can be an overwhelming amount of information coming at you from all angles, whether buying or selling. It’s important you are provided with the best, most accurate and relevant information to help you make these milestone decisions. I optimize results by being well versed in our systems and utilizing them in the most efficient and effective ways possible. In addition, when taking buyers through homes to drafting contracts, I am all about the details. In showings, I’m always looking for something that may be a cause for concern. Prior to drafting contracts, I always do my due diligence on the property and surrounding area. Sometimes what someone may deem as a “small detail” is really much bigger than it seems, and I pride myself on noticing these situations and making them known to my clients.

More About Sherri

My dad has been selling real estate since 2002 and over the years he has cultivated some of the best practices a Realtor can have. I believe his success all goes back to Team Lambkin’s core values; Trust, Knowledge and Integrity. These values have been a constant theme throughout my life. For years my dad has wanted me to join his team. He has always been a birdie in my ear; “come join the family business”. But I needed to find the path to Real Estate on my own.

For better for worse, I have always been an overachiever. I graduated with Honours from the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, in Waterloo. From there, I spent a few years behind a desk in Supply Chain Management. Over the years, a common question I get is, “What is Supply Chain Management?”

The short answer – have you ever gone to Walmart for one specific thing, to find the shelf completely empty? That is a failure in the Supply Chain. It was my job to keep a manufacturing facility stocked and up and running full time. It taught me many things but mainly time management, discipline, and how to negotiate. All skills that are an asset to my real estate career.

As the years ticked on, I realized to be truly satisfied, I needed to get out from behind the desk and engage more with the people around me. What better way to tap into fostering those relationships than to help them during huge milestone moments, like buying or selling their home. And with my background in many areas of business from economics, operations, finance to marketing, and 20+ years of my dad’s Real Estate experience at my fingertips, my path to Real Estate became clear.

I know, firsthand, how difficult this market can be. No realtor has the power to change the market, but I do offer knowledge and a helping hand to navigate the everchanging world of real estate. This empowers you to make the most informed decisions that work for your situation. Buying or selling your home is often stressful. My attention to detail and hard work ethic will allow me to be the person you can trust to guide you through the process.

Whether you are buying, selling, or just have general real estate questions, I’m here to help and would be delighted to hear from you.
